This year, we also recognize the innovative use of 3D printing adaptive tools that support individuals with aphasia, helping them regain their communication skills.
Developed as a pilot project last year, the SLP clinic was created to provide students with in-house clinical skills while connecting patients, particularly those dealing with stroke aphasia and in need of stroke recovery support, to care. The clinic also explores innovative solutions, such as 3D printing adaptive tools, to assist individuals with aphasia.
